The latest on Ron Artest...
Indiana Pacers GM Donnie Walsh has indicated that Artest will be dealt in the coming days, and it's looking increasingly likely that the turbulent star will land in Denver, but the only question is if it'll be a striaght-up deal, or if Atlanta (or another club) will be involved in a three-way trade...
The Hawks are looking to deal Al Harrington and the Pacers would love to have him back in the fold. Harrington wanted out of Indiana a couple years ago, so he could be "the man" elsewhere. He won't get that with a return to the Pacers, but he'll be a bigger option than before.
The Hawks reportedly would get injured forward Nene and point guard Earl Watson, and troubled forward Ron Artest would wind up with the Nuggets. But, Atlanta is holding out for a draft pick or two, to help make up for the ones they dealt to Phoenix to acquire Joe Johnson.
